"Angel"
My "Angel" VTube Rig is my independent research for my senior year of college. My proposal for my research involved learning the Vtube rigging software Live2D Cubism. The end goal of this endeavor was create a a Live2D Vtubing rig ready to be used in a professional capacity by a Twitch streamer. To reach this goal the rig had to include fluid animation, believable 3Dimensionality, A,E,I,O,U mouth shapes, and toggleable emotes. In short, these attributes coincides with an average higher tier VTube rig commission.
The art for the model came from an art commission I made from the game Monster Prom a few years ago. As reward for backing the sequels for the game one of their artists (Viperfish) made a "Monstersona" in my likeness in the style of the Monster Prom Games.
As a part of the process of creating this rig I had to separate the art into all of the different moving parts of the final rig. As a part of this I filled in the blanks of the art where pieces overlapped or were cropped. I did my best to match the style of the original artwork as well as add additional bells and whistles to add a bit of panache to the rig.

"Jiu"
The "Jiu" VTube Rig is a rig commissioned by a close friend using Live2D Cubism once again. The end goal of this endeavor was to create a much more complex rig focusing more on fine details. I wanted to steer the design more toward that of the commonplace VTuber, heavily influenced by the anime style. I also wanted to see what I could do with a nose since I don't see noses as often on Live2D rigs.
The art for the model, I drew with inspiration from the artist Hapnu aka @japhers. I thought the more painterly style would be a great challenge for me.

"Playboi"
The "Playboi" VTube Rig is a rig commissioned by another close friend using Live2D Cubism again. For this rig I wanted to change up the style and work with a new type of nose and lips. I didn't see a lot of VTube rigs with thick lips or natural/protective hair styles.
I drew with inspiration for this model from an artist I found on Instagram. Trin @ttolouh. I really enjoyed the way they draw black people specifically. It feels very friendly and comforting.

"Rajieeee"
The "Rajieeee" VTube Rig also uses Live2D Cubism. The goal of this rig was to take a totally different style of art, similar to that of the Monster Prom style.
This piece is not a commissioned piece of art. I was quite the the artwork of Awuradwoa Afful aka @rajieeee. This image in particular. I loved every part of this style and thought I could breathe some life into this character using the Live2D program.
